Midwood, Brooklyn: home values and selling
Recorded sale prices, local housing, and a free home value from a licensed Brooklyn broker.
About Midwood
Midwood sits in the middle of Brooklyn along the B and Q subway lines, with stations at Avenue H, Avenue J and Avenue M. Its housing ranges from large detached houses on tree-lined blocks, including the Fiske Terrace–Midwood Park historic district, to 2-family homes, co-op apartment buildings near Ocean Avenue and Ocean Parkway, and newer condos. Avenue J and Avenue M are the main shopping streets.
Detached and semi-detached houses sell on lot size, condition and block; co-ops trade at much lower prices and depend heavily on maintenance and building rules, which is why one neighborhood average can mislead.
